Data connections and privacy
Life Compass is operated by Benjamin Richter. For questions, account access or a data-deletion request, contact benjirichter53@gmail.com.
What you connect
After signing into Life Compass, you can authorize Google, Microsoft or Plaud and choose the sources to import. Provider sign-in connects data; it does not create or sign into a Life Compass account.
- Email: messages, full text bodies, sender/recipient information, labels or folders, dates and attachment metadata in selected sources. Binary email attachments are not imported.
- Calendars: selected calendars and their events, including titles, descriptions, locations, original time zones, all-day dates and end dates. The connection shows the imported time window.
- Plaud: the synced recording archive, recording metadata, available transcripts and notes, including summaries and action items. Life Compass does not duplicate the audio files.
How the data is used
Your imported sources support your private calendar, source reading and search. When you use AI chat or Moneypenny, relevant workspace and source content can be sent to Anthropic to answer your request, using your account’s Anthropic connection. Voice features also send speech audio or text to ElevenLabs for transcription and speech generation. Daily AI routines for connected accounts are still undergoing workflow verification.
These services operate outside your email or calendar provider. Anthropic states that commercial API inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default; its training policy and retention policy describe the terms and exceptions. Life Compass does not promise zero retention by its service providers. Obtain any required organizational approval before connecting company data or using it with AI or voice.
Life Compass does not sell your connected data or use it for advertising or model training. Life Compass’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and access
Life Compass stores imported data in private Cloudflare cloud storage associated with your workspace. Provider access and refresh tokens are encrypted and used on the server. Provider passwords are entered on the provider’s own sign-in pages and are not collected by the Life Compass application. Connection status, source coverage and sync times are visible in Connections & AI.
Source content is excluded from routine diagnostic logs. Account and connection access is restricted to authorized workspace users. The operator may help diagnose a problem with your permission or when necessary to protect the service.
Disconnecting and deletion
Disconnecting removes Life Compass’s saved provider access tokens and stops new collection. Previously imported copies are retained for your review and excluded from active evidence. You can also withdraw Life Compass’s access through the provider’s connected-app settings. To delete retained copies or the account, contact the address above; deletion requests require verification of account ownership.
This notice describes the private cloud application’s current connections. The released offline iOS app has its own data flows and notice. Material changes to connected-data use will be disclosed before that use begins.
