These terms cover your use of the Life Compass 2.0 beta at beta.lifecompass.me. Life Compass is provided by Benjamin Richter. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

The beta

Life Compass 2.0 is in beta. It is a working product, but features will change, some will be added over time (AI features are coming soon), and there may be interruptions or mistakes. We may change, pause or end the beta. If we end it, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to download your data.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live, to create an account. Give us accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account.

Your content

What you put in Life Compass stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you. You're responsible for what you add, including files you attach, and for having the right to add it.

Fair use

Use Life Compass lawfully. Don't try to access other people's accounts or data, interfere with or overload the service, get around its security or limits, or use it to store or share anything illegal or harmful. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk.

Keep your own copies

Life Compass is a planning tool, not a guaranteed archive. Download a copy of your data from time to time (Settings → Support and privacy → Your data), and don't rely on Life Compass as your only record of important information.

No warranty

To the extent the law allows, Life Compass is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Benjamin Richter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the beta. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be waived.

Ending your account

You can stop using Life Compass at any time. To close your account and delete its data, email benjirichter53@gmail.com.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the beta develops. If a change is significant, we'll tell you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Questions: Benjamin Richter, benjirichter53@gmail.com.
